Melfar pioneered seaside accessibility through the installation of a number of pool chair lifts along Malta’s lovely coastline, to enable persons with mobility problems to get in and out of the water.
Feedback from the users and the general public was extremely positive, giving people the opportunity to access Malta’s beautiful crystal blue sea this summer, after many years of inaccessibility. These lifts are the first of their kind in Malta. See photos below
